This was a really enjoyable anejo. Balanced, approachable, and packed with classic flavors. It delivers a lot for the price, making it an easy one to appreciate. On the nose, cooked agave comes through clearly, layered with vanilla and oak. Black pepper adds a bit of lift, while caramel and butterscotch bring a smooth, rich sweetness. Cinnamon and baking spice round it out with a warm, inviting aroma. On the palate, the nose translates almost perfectly. Cooked agave leads the way, supported by vanilla and oak. Black pepper adds a gentle spice, while caramel and butterscotch give it depth and richness. Cinnamon and baking spice carry through and linger nicely on the finish. Overall, this is a well-made anejo that hits all the right notes without overcomplicating things. Extra points for value. It’s a great example of a flavorful, affordable anejo that’s easy to come back to.

Very good for an Añejo. Not too smoky or dark, yet flavorful and light. Not a lot of competing tones or flavors.

Very light for an anejo. Has caramel and butterscotch with some cooked agave but the flavors are light. You can taste them but it’s almost bland. Easy drinking and nothing bad but if you’re expecting it to be exploding with flavor you’ll be disappointed. I think I like the repo better. Makes a decent old fashioned especially for the price.

Nose. Cooked agave. Barrel room. Ocean air. Taste cooked agave. Barrel. Brine. Finish. Medium with a hint of pepper. Again good tequila at a great price.

Very pleasant and affordable Anejo. Agave forward aroma. On the palate I get cooked agave, oak, earthy minerals, grassy notes and hint of caramel.

Taste cooked agave, sweet caramel/vanilla notes from being aged. have a hint of citrus, with strong vegetable notes near the end.
