“The underlying quality is there but I feel like there’s soon smoothing out to do. Definitely a bit boozy. That’s understandable at 46%, but I’ve had others at that proof at a similar price point where flavors are more refined and the burn is much less noticeable. ”

Cascahuín Tahona Blanco

“I don’t drink a lot of blancos but this is really tasty. I’ve tried this alongside Fuenteseca and Fortaleza and found this somewhere between the two (Fuenteseca being a little bit better). Seems to be coming down in price which is good. At $60-$70 this is a no-brainer. @ $90-$100 I’d rather just get the Fuenteseca.”

Cascahuín Reposado

“If you like Cazcanes, Siempre, Alma del Jaguar reposados you’ll like this. Just a bit more barrel influence than I prefer - or was expecting - compared to some of my other 1123 favorites. It’s good with a cigar, but not the flavor I look for in my everyday sipper lineup.”

Siete Leguas Blanco

“Classic tequila flavor. Bright, earthy citrus and pepper with nice agave tang. It just tastes exactly what you imagine a super traditional well made blanco should. Highly sippable but maintains that classic tequila astringency (in the best way) that makes it perfect in a marg. You can find this in some places like Costco and online for under $30 which makes it a no-brainer.”

Tapatio Reposado

“Hard one not to like. Very bright and refreshing with lots of citrus and pepper right off the bat. Not exactly my first choice as far as reposados go but I’d happily drink this when options are limited. ”
