Trademark NOM 1123 minerality and notes The barrel influence is restrained and the agave shines. This one is an instant classic. If you find one from 1123, grab it while you can!
Super good high proof! Aroma is subtle and does not give away the surprise taste. Typical Cascahuin: fresh agave, minerals and cement. The taste is an explosion of spicy red hot candied agave! Wooo! Hot and fun. Some cinnamon layers in and then light minerality. I’ve got to find a bottle of this from 1123 soon!
A very good anejo. Lots of cinnamon pepper caramel with a minty after taste.
NOSE: Cooked agave, vanilla, cinnamon, floral notes. barrel spices, strong vegetal notes, honey, orange peel PALATE: Cooked agave, very citrus forward. Cinnamon, vanilla, pepper. More orange peel on the palate. A lot more caramel, honey. Very light barrel, very light cocoa. Very complex palate after it opened up a bit. Started to get a little butter and butterscotch even. FINISH: Lingers nicely. Very pleasant creamy finish
