NOSE cooked agave, Butterscotch, stone fruit, vanilla, cinnamon PALATE Agave, baking spices, well balanced, between barrel and agave. delicious FINISH Sweet finish but again balanced and elegant. I would buy this over and over when I am at the distillery!

Vanilla and notes of cherry in addition to the agave. Not a bad sipper.

Aditivos? I think yes, but not terrible.

Strange nose. Maybe a little coffee like. Licorice, vanilla and cinnamon. Palate is ok. Easy enough to drink but the flavors don’t match my profile. Sweet agave is good. This sample was given to me. Don’t think I will seek it out

Nose: Oak, agave, alcohol, vanilla, honey, and cinnamon. Palate: Initial taste was very pleasant. Cooked agave, oak, vanilla Finish: I did not enjoy the finish. Medium in length but alcoholic notes on the tongue.

Had this at the El Tequileno tasting room. Aroma: cooked agave, baking spice, light vanilla Flavor: the baking spice hits first, followed by mango and vanilla notes

A blend of 2yr and 3yr

Another great outing for this 50th anniversary Tequileno. I expected a little more from this. Still solid with enough agave coming through along with slight vanilla, mango, spices, cinnamon, etc. but I think the slightly older tall bottle reposado reserva has an edge over this one.

Sweet vanilla nose, smooth and light aged agave. A little spice on the finish. Sampled this in Tequila at Hotel next to the distillery, so everything always taste better in Jalisco

Great nose, soft oak and vanilla are extremely inviting! Really balanced and approachable, this certainly presents as an Añejo but I find that the agave comes back with a vengeance on the back end. I have a soft spot for elegant tequilas like this, with diminishing stock this is something to squirrel away in your collection.

Aroma is ok jut not much agave. The taste is complex and has a lot going on and is good. The finish is ok.

Nose: Butterscotch, vanilla, dark fresh fruit, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and an herbal or mineral note poking through. Earthiness. Floral nuances. Flavor: Baking spices, anise, honey, agave, vanilla and light pepper. Viscous. Bold yet round sensation. Round finish medium long, with enough pepper heat to balance the sweet and floral notes.

Bought this for $19 at Hi-Time Wine Cellars, which may be the deal of the century. It has a creamy smooth vanilla aroma, and a well-balanced full and slightly sweet finish. This is a surprisingly solid añejo.

It's not bad, but too much wood and too little agave for my taste.

Received as a sample from Agave Swappers so the value is listed as 5/10. This is pretty good stuff!

Nose is butterscotch, vanilla, dark fruit, heavily roasted agave, barrel notes. Sip starts with a touch of anise baking spice, rolls into vanilla and cinnamon, green herbal notes, viscous mouthfeel, pepper and mint tingle, more baking spices, agave dripping with honey. Soft and rounded flavors. Off the charts complexity. Finishes is long with sweet agave and barrel notes. Paid $74 for a dusty treasure.

At the distillery. Sort of mellow through out. Nose is a bit hot. Cinnamon and some heat flavor. Into a hot agave finish.

Caramel, vanilla, mild agave. Boozy smell. The barrel notes definitely come thru. Whiskey is prominent. Had at the tasting room in Tequila. This is a new batch of their 50th anniversary, not the initial version from 2009.

Auditivos?! Nothing to right home about imo

Tasted at sabor y cultura bottle share ; Sweet barrel notes of the bat on the nose with a tiny bit of pepper but quickly turns to a apple plum fruit smell On the palette it’s also sweet with more fruit then spice and the finish is great

Aroma - mineral, light agave, veggie, light vanilla, chocolate Flavor - light oil, light vanilla, hazelnut Finish - light heat, desert like but not additive laden, nice touch

Mexican 38% abv. versión, lote: BA125100821, bottled on 23-10-2022, tasted on 5-20-24. Color: yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light acidity, hint of anise, hint of citrus, hint of orange, hint of aromatic green vegetal notes, hint of white pepper, after 20 minutes in the glass the agave sweetness becomes slightly more intense. Light wood note. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, pepper spiciness is more intense on the palate, together with the wood note slightly dominates other flavors and aromas. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of sweet cooked agave, light acidity, light citrus with light pepper spiciness persists.

Nose : vanilla , green apple , baking spice , flora Taste : oak , vanilla , floral, alcohol . Felt like something was missing aftertaste was a little rough .
