“At La Pina before the Cazcanes tasting. Surprised I never checked this in. Classic Cascahuin smell. Cinnamon and agave with a little heat. Similar taste with the best and cinnamon working well. A little hot on the finish but not overly. Not too exciting considering how much I love their blanco. ”

“Purchased at Wild Grape Wine Company in Weyauwega, WI. $43 Really nice agave nose without a lot of heat so the agave shines. Good mouthfeel with spicy, minty and peppery agave flavors that shine off of the heat. Finishes with a nice hot sweet agave with that lingers. Excellent for the price. ”

“Nice agave nose with some heat in the back. Great agave taste that keeps coming. A little heat in the back that cleans up with some nice lingering agave and heat. So good agave. I like it better than still strength. Better smell and I can drink more because of the lower ABV. ”

“While watching Mexico beat Ecuador in the round of 32 in the World Cup. Finally caved and bought a 375ml of this as I felt I should try this even though I know it’s over priced and hyped. And since a 375ml bottle is about the cost of three pours of it in a bar, (and I get to keep the bottle) why not. Nice copper color, but likely coloring. Muted cinnamon smell with hints of clove, barrel, and agave. Thick mouthfeel with a weird sugary texture. Some nice cinnamon toast flavors. A little vanilla in back. And a little too much head in finish that lingers. Not bad. But yes, overhyped and over priced. ”
