“graphite , oak , agave , caramel on the nose. taste - anis, pepper , caramel , vanilla , oak finish - nice long peppery finish that doesn't get too hidden by the aging notes not the best value where I live but we take what we can get ”

“revisiting this one as I have tried several more since and feel like it is warranted. lots of agave and caramel on the nose, smells kinda sweet. taste is pretty sweet, too sweet in fact lots of oak, and not all that complex. there is a good hit of pepper on he initial taste along with the agave hidden in there somewhere finish is long and not the pleasant pepperiness I like but just a lingering alcohol. still a nice looking bottle though, it looks good on the shelf. I suspect that sells this stuff as much as what's inside. ”

“honestly this is as good as I can hope for a tequila to be. it's so unique but at the same time so authentic. I know many frown upon such things , but I find that over a big ice cube everything smells and tastes even better. with the ice I can almost smell the fresh plant still in the field. ”

“sadly this was not great. tried in a tequila place on the Malecon strip in peurto Vallarta. it screamed tourist trap and turned out to be true. too sweet and missing the agave flavor I was looking for pretty one note and uninteresring. way too expensive ”

“finally another offering in my region that is additive free. the other being Tapatio. the nose is a bit underwhelming and perhaps a wee bit acetone. but agave is dominant just like I want for a Blanco. oily mouth feel agave ,pepper , bit of herbaceousness. finish is nice and warm but not as "full" as something higher end. all in all I will def keep this one beside my Tapatio for a nice Blanco sipper option. as for value there's nothing better in my area, full points there. ”

“not much to say. this is from a tourist ship claiming to be rare batch real deal tequila. but...Alas....it is made to appeal to the masses. the same NOM makes addictivo , which says it all. so it's good in the sense that it's sweet and most people won't find it harsh...but yo tequila folks like us .... not so much ”

“love this Blanco. straight up agave and black pepper. definitely some earthiness going on. really enjoyable tequila and one of the few reasonably priced items around here that is this good. ”

“A new tequila at the Quebec liquor store! of course I got some . Finally cracked it open tonight and what a nice surprise . It sells around here for less than Pasote so great option to have available. It's a pure Blanco full frontal agave. nice heat and after burn. maybe a bit too much alcohol on the nose but other than that very enjoyable. I am liking it more each sip. At around. 60$ Canadian it's the best value we have at the moment. ”

“if someone gave me this blind I might think it was a whisky. the barrel aging process overwhelms the agave flavor for me. whiskey, caramel, vanilla, brown sugar for days. ”

“wow! I tried this blind and it is a keeper. really strong caramel nose but sips without sweetness. tastes of vanilla and chocolate with a smooth if underwhelming finish. ”

“this is one I bought for mixing drinks frozen margaritas etc. it works for that. I did a blind taste not knowing what it was and thought it was possibly a cheap whiskey. really not very interesting as a sipper a few more bucks will get u something much better for that. ”

“For someone who really enjoys tequila in it's purest form, this is not the tequila for you. I was gifted this and that's how it ended on my shelf. It has a 38% instead of 40% alcohol content, and I think that this 2% is sugar. I have never tried a sweeter tequila, and unfortunately it is a cloying sweetness that takes away from it for me. The caramel and vanilla aromas are nice, but the flavor is just over the top. What it does offer, is an option for someone who has aversions to tequila due to past experiences. For that reason it is worth keeping around. ”
