“Such a blend of so many different expressions seems difficult to balance and it comes through in an overly alcoholic blast, front and center, with an enormous amount of oak, cinn, and vanilla…almost wondered if a sweetener was added. Aroma signaled butterscotch & caramel but the taste and finish were very different which can be a complex taste structure if it weren’t for the finish. The finish was ok. Dry, with zero hang time on any flavors that passed the palette. Very very underwhelming With the success of Fortaleza Winter Blends, it seems that Casa Noble is making an attempt to do the same with anejos and XAs. ”
