“Rats, I really wanted to like this Blanco after my Step-dad raved about it but had a hard time finding any positives here. On the nose, bland and nothing compelling stands out…tastes follow same theme - no herbal, no agave, no oily mouth coat and totally lacking any finish. Sadly, nothing really pops for me on this very simple and extremely disappointing bottle of tequila - So bland I can’t even say it’s good value - will end up as a mixer for ranch water on a hot day. I can’t even recommend this to a Noob as an intro sipper…give me my Fortaleza, G4 or even Don Abraham Blanco’s and I’m completely satisfied - pass on this y’all, Mb.”

“Love this blanco, especially at this price point!! Super smooth with pepper and grass notes on the front end and an easy finish. Not super complex but a really pleasant sipper as I sit here and watch my Lakers win one…will 100% pick this blanco up again.”

“So this came highly recommended to me by Blas at Mercado San Marcos in Rosarito Beach - which is the greatest little market in the world - and gotta admit, my dood let me down this time. The tequila was tasty but not what I expected - very heavy agave forward, smoke and black pepper - to the point where my wife kept asking, is this mezcal?! I will say this, it paired up perfectly with some topa chica and lime…my palette might have been blown out from lunch so will def try again.”

“Dig this tequila! Easy drinking but not lazy, has some interesting notes of licorice, vanilla and another flavor profile I can’t place - maybe melon. Aroma is fresh and sweet but not overly and the finish is fairly mellow with a nice little burn and an absolute steal on sale for $39.99 - and I got the old school bottle!! Not a fan of the new bottle/labeling - why is everything gotta be sooo bougie?! Definitely recommend and will pick up again - soon.”

“Fortaleza Blanco has been a go to of mine for years - great tasting, great value - and pairs up nicely with Topo Chico and lime or solo as a sipper. Can never go wrong with this Blanco or it’s higher octane steel strength version.”

“Another recommendation from the Tequila Hombre - really enjoyed this Blanco - a lot!! Super earthy on the nose and when it hits the taste buds - clay, minerals, earth - which might be off putting to some but was really interesting and rewarding. Finish is smooth with some grassy notes and just the right amount of burn - I dig it!! Will be buying G4 again - and again - and again!!”

“I really wanted love this tequila - but only fell in Like with - sorry to say. I like to try all the organic Blanco’s and was excited to taste based on reviews, however the taste profile had an odd chemical or gas like taste which only worsened on the palate the longer it lingered. Ended up using it in my topo Chico ranch mix and even then didn’t really shine…maybe I’ll try again”

“Wow, very solid Blanco!! Really enjoyed the crisp - clean - flavors both as a sipper and in a cocktail. I defiantly got the citrus taste with some cinnamon and vanilla with a mellow but not uninteresting finish. Will be buying again and strongly recommend Lalo Blanco.”
