Tequila Ocho Añejo - Widow Jane
“Nose is a nice blend of the whiskey barrel and agave. Needs to rest a few minutes before the first sip, it starts out slightly hot. Nice agave flavor that’s complimented by the barrel aging. Nice clean finish with residual oak that’s very enjoyable. Highly recommended to seek this one out. I plan on revisiting this in a week. In betting it opens up nicely.”

ArteNOM Seleccion de 1146 Añejo
“This is really good. Dessert like good. Crème brulee/bananas foster….it reminds me of a barrel aged rum, but with agave coming through. A great value at retail, and one I will surely buy again.”

Fortaleza Añejo
“I could nose this all day. Great mix of oak and agave. Very enjoyable sip with vanilla/caramel/butterscotch notes. Finish is somewhat muted, which is my only complaint. It’s a solid buy at retail, but I’d pass at the $200 secondary price.”

“Light clean nose with a light oak fragrance. Butterscotch notes with light agave flavor. Finish is a tad astringent, but pleasant. This is from a single barrel expression, and it’s very straightforward and enjoyable.”
