“Found this at a local military class 6. Color: Amber Nose: Floral and clean (Reminiscent of crisp clean sheets) Palate: Wonderfully mild with heavy barrel influence that imparts some delicious maple flavor and delicate floral notes as well. There is zero acidic aftertaste or rye-like “bite” at the end. Dangerously mellow. Finish: Light finish but coats the mouth/tongue with a very nice syrupy finish. Zero Harshness with a nice little warmth at the backend. ”

“Nose is fragrant with both fruit forward notes and just a touch of what I think is a powdered sugar note. Palate is delightful from first sip to last drop. Luxurious flavor of cooked agave, a custard like finish and mouthfeel. Finish starts with a slight peppery taste on the back of the tongue - But overall a very well crafted spirit, that is sweet, voluptuous and full bodied. ”

“Very crisp, clean expression. Vegetal with some pepper, but nicely done..A bit of harshness on the palate/Finish. Drinks a bit higher than 80 - which is a testament to its complexity. ”

“Peppery, astringent, somewhat harsh. I get the cooked agave, but it’s way in the background, and its just not present enough to make a dent in the peppery harshness. I wanted to love this Blanco, but just couldn’t get on board. I will revisit this as it opens up over the next couple weeks. ”

“Color: Crystal Clear Nose: Minty, cooked agave, floral, crisp and clean Palate: Minty, sweet as the perfectly cooked agave shines thru with its minty signature and zero harshness on the back end. Finish: Nice heat for an 80 proofer! Coats the tongue in a silky creamy sweet that makes you want to drink the whole damn bottle. This is what I am looking for in a perfect blanco!”

“Color: Light Yellow Nose: Cooked agave, All spice, vegetal Palate: Starts off sweet, then gives way to rye like peppery notes thats common with a decent tequila. Sweet but still has a full body with just a touch of harshness at the end of the sip. Finish: A bit thinner than I was expecting, short finish with little heat in the chest, but does give way to a peppery harsh note right at the end. Didnt spoil it - but didnt showcase its quality either. ”

“Color: Light yellow(Lighter than expected) Nose: Sweet, Maple, Agave syrup, wheat Palate: Mellow sipper, thin but has some nice barrel notes such as vanilla, maple and some all spice. Finish: Thin but has some linen like aftertaste thats not quite what I wanted in this expression. Does offer some medium heat on the finish. ”

“Color - Gold and not crystal clear Nose: Some agave, pepper Palate: Harsh peppery and synthetic sweet agave flavor thats not terribly well done or pleasant. This does coat the mouth but its not the type of spirit you want to linger around. Finish: This finishes just as you would expect it to…too long and harsh with such acidity that it makes you question whether or not you should be drinking this. This is one of the tequila brands that most people have had poor experiences with during their youth, thus turning them off to tequila spirits forever after. This is a cheap not very well made spirit that people buy to use in margaritas. Plain and simple. Its cheap and available everywhere. ”

“Color: Dark Amber Nose: Caramel, linen, Cooked agave syrup and a light vegetal aroma that is plenty complex Palate: Mellow from the first sip, Sweet as that cooked agave shines perfectly. Barrel influence brings out some pleasant whiskey characteristics that I honestly dont think it needs. This Lote does plenty without the caramels, vanillas etc. Finish: Backend brings a light floral aftertaste that wasnt there on the palate. Pleasant mellow and deceptively easy to suck down quickly. Some nice medium heat that finishes in your chest. ”
