Very light amber in the glass. Seems like it was barely kissed by the barrel. Aroma of cooked agave, oak, black pepper and cinnamon. Flavors of cooked agave, black pepper, oak and vanilla. It has a warm, medium-long finish. Added points for the low price I stumbled across.

Aroma/Taste: The tequila opens with notes of cooked agave, followed by a hint of Parmesan cheese and a touch of yeast. The earthiness is reminiscent of damp soil, and the barrel aging contributes rich oak, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove undertones. Finish: The finish is medium to medium-long, leaving a warm trail of baking spices and a kick of black pepper. A subtle bitterness lingers, adding complexity. Overall: This tequila strikes a harmonious balance between the sweetness of cooked agave and the gentle influence of light barrel aging. It’s perfect for sipping, especially by the firepit on cool evenings.

Smells excellent- like wet stone after a rain storm Clean taste & finish. This would be a great gateway tequila for a blance drinker getting into reposados Very versatile. Subtle hints of tropical fruit, sweet fruits, stone, dirt, and herbacious notes. Touches all corners of taste. I like this one

Eye- clear with a slight tint on yellow Nose-loads of cinnamon, upfront and pure agave sweetness with a slight bit of dark chocolate Taste- cooked agave, barrel spice, slight bit of orange peel, and light pepper. The bitterness from maybe the orange peal stays on the back end and last (subtle).

Clean agave with a subtle palate and soft finish. Tasted with AF 2024 Blind Repo. My lowest scoring tasting. This one did not sit with me.

Blind- Light on the color. Vegetal with some smoke and minerality on the nose. On the palate I get vegetal notes like bell pepper and some minerals.

Some barrel spice and a bit of smoke on the nose. This has a nice suave entry and agave sweetness along with the nosed barrel spice. Medium length finish with some bite on the swallow gives this an uptick on the finish score. Tasted during 2024 AF Reposado Blind

Overall - not very distinctive. Aroma - minerality with raw agave. Flavor - more fruity perhaps grapefruit/oranges but little barrel impression. Finish - "uneventful" . . . no follow thru.

Very clear appearance for an aged spirit. N- black pepper, fresh agave, brine, straw T- honey, roasted peanuts, cooked agave, bell pepper MF- medium F- medium and dry. Super clean from start to finish

Nothing overly remarkable but a solid repo for the price. A little citrus, caramel and toffee with a subtle oaky finish.

Didn’t get much cooked agave, but is Somewhere in there. Besides that this profile has a good balance of what you expect from a reposado; barrel spice, sweetness (caramel/vanilla), clove, while also showcasing some grass and herbal notes (raw agave) and a minimal alcohol intake Price is just a bit off at $55

I had to let this reposado sit a moment but it does open up with flavor. A little alcohol finish but overall nice flavors. I enjoyed the blanco more. 11/23 update: I changed my rating. This repo has grown on me. It’s very easy sipping. I’ve been using it a lot for cocktails lately and it really shines.

Very crisp and clean on the nose. Spicy and green. Picked this up for $35… great deal!

this is some fantastic stuff right here . its smooth and Fiji water and you jist want to keep drinking. no burn in the mouth or when swallowing.. all around pleasant bottle . nice work folks in jalisco

Didn't think about buying this but then I saw the article on the app. Glad I did it was well worth it.

Vegetal notes on the nose. Some agave, some pepper, a touch of vanilla and oak. Light mouthfeel with a little burn. Sweetness on the palate, but it tastes natural. Vanilla mostly, but some agave and pepper sneak in. Very smooth all around. Pretty good, especially at $42 per bottle. Excited to see how it opens up.

I might need to update as I just opened the bottle but as of now: pale color with a nose of cinnamon and some sweetness. First taste for me is overwhelmingly cooked agave but I don’t mean that in a negative way. There is some spiciness (pepper) and a bit of alcohol, both linger along with the agave for a decent finish. Price was a little high for me given what it is but I am still open to updating after the next taste.
