Repo=80 not bad for newer day Herradura Repo. . Old School Year 2000 (Pre Diffuser) =89. This is the way a Reposado is supposed to taste. Caramel,whiskey,fruit and more

Got a good amount of citrus on the nose.. orange and grapefruit. Flavor is more butterscotch and little pepper. Overall, I think it’s a decent repo but a little over priced.

Strong alcohol aroma. Taste is sweet and funky but overall good. Finish is harsh and not so fun.

I’m a bit of a homer and will always rate Herradura high....I love the mint & herbal notes that live in the background of each expression. A little too sweet on the back end to make me consider this elite but it’s yummy and available anywhere the sun rises.

An older bottle from 2010. Nose: Fruity with cherry and apple. Sweet oak and round spices. Flavor: Slightly muddled, yet appealing flavors. You have fruitiness and agave contrasting with black pepper & barrel spices cloaked in a silky sip. Not terribly complex, but I have no huge complaints with this one from NOM 1119.

Pineapple and jalapeño aromas- very unique to Herradura. Interesting, different, and sometimes I find myself in the mood for this.

Pineapple banana taste/nose is off putting.

Strange nose with little alcohol. A fruity mango undertone. Short finish.

Aroma: This has a very interesting aroma. It's very citrus heavy and reminds me of pineapple. There's also a subtle hint of oak and vanilla. Flavor: It has a very unique flavor that finished with a strong pepper note. The upfront flavor almost reminds me a bit of gasoline or rubber. It's a bit salty and not my favorite. Finish: There's a very strong finish that just grows and grows. It mellows out nicely in the back of your mouth.

I like the pine and rocky notes that come out with this tequila. The open fermentation really takes this solid tequila to a higher level. It’s not the greatest, it’s produced by a large manufacturer, but is a reliable and enjoyable drink.

Used to be so much better 10 years ago.

Not sure about additives or not, but this is not my cup of tea… On the nose: Searching for agave aromas, but can’t seem to find any. There is some oak and vanilla notes, but that’s about it, other than ethanol. On the palate: There is some flavors of oak, and another flavor that is similar to citrus, and that’s all. I can’t identify any agave. On the finish: There is a pronounced bitterness on the finish that tastes borderline artificial. Not very pleasant. This is not the best representation of what I would call tequila.

Some kind of barrel spice/cherry/vanilla with a little cleaning solvent in the mix. Way overpriced at 49 bucks.
