If there were no better options then yes I would drink again

We can’t always have additive free or complex tequilas. This is one that’s common at parties and gatherings and it gets the Job done. Nothing special but decent enough to enjoy and relax.

Medium/light amber color in glass. Aroma of agave, oak and solvent. Flavor of anise, light oak. Light finish.

Bottle has 2008 stamp and is 35% ABV. Absolutely awful, this is weak sugar water with a minimal amount of wood and alcohol, I think. No, just no.

I like this offering best of the four tequilas Gran Centenario produces. “Smooth” nice finish, reasonably priced. I find it a good value for mixing or occasional sipping.

Nose: An unidentifiable floral or fruity note layered in oak sawdust. Arid earth. Flavor: Hot and bitter entry. There is some sweetness that has an aftertaste that is not pleasant. Hints of caramel or butterscotch, but masked in the overwhelming bitterness.

Revisiting this repo. Like the plata nothing offensive but not much good. A little bitter heat that is enjoyable.

The oak treatment helps this out a bit, tons of mint and bitterness from the barrel.

Bartender offered a taste of this on the house. very pleasant aroma. sweet and smooth caramel flavor. recommended

A classic tequila; good balance of agave, wood, spice and heat. Medium body and finish.

Aromas of cooked agave, almond, vanilla, oak, and pinecone. Palate is round and silky, showing more agave, pinecone, and vanilla, plus subtle clove and dried orange. Finish is fairly smooth, and medium-long. 3.50/5.00 – Impressive

Nose- some interesting things open up if you work for it Mouth: waxy with some viscosity, balanced sweetness, mild heat Palate: satisfying middle of the road reposado. No noticeable off flavors Finish: lasts and has a pleasant bitterness. You’re left with a pretty neutral palate.

Tried a free sample of this today. Way too much alcohol buzzing around on this! Huge difference from the repo to the anejo.

Strong alcohol smell masking the Agave and Oak . Decent oaky agave flavor but appears better after the finish which I like. Easily accessible at many bottle shops so don’t be too disappointed if you have to settle for this as less expensive sipper in a pinch.

On the nose I got a more buttery and warm smell. Taste wise I pick up backing spices, star anise, black pepper & cinnamon.

Sweet, vanilla aroma with lots of alcohol. Sweet and agave flavor but nothing in the finish.

Lot: 024 24 35% Aroma: chemical and citrus. Taste: alcohol and chemicals. Slightly herbal. It borders on unpleasant.

The tequila often served at restaurants in Mexico (unless you ask) and an easy entry in too tequila that is not a Cuervo mixto.

Alcohol, caramel aroma. Alcohol, cinnamon, slightly sweet flavor. Good burn. Okay for mixing.

Mexican 35% abv. version Pleasant aroma; agave, caramel, vanilla, floral, fruit notes and oak. Some vanilla sweetness, a little agave but very smooth with almost no lingering flavors on the palate.

This is an average reposado. Nothing spectacular going on here. Not too strong , and would be a good mixer, not a lot of flavour as a sipper, but has a pleasant alcohol burn.
