“Really surprised me considering the beautiful bottle. Not overly sweet, floral notes and red wine undertones. ”

“Notes of vanilla and butterscotch on the nose. Similar taste. A little less sweet than some other additive tequilas. Definitely don’t get a lot of agave. ”

“A lot of agave and sweetness on the nose. Really pleasant vanillas and caramels coming through and a little apple as well. Much different taste. Agave, pepper and spice. A bit of caramel and butterscotch sweetness. Peppery and long finish. Very good overall but maybe a bit overpriced. ”

“Pretty inoffensive on the nose. Not a lot of agave, a bit of rubber and alcohol. But not a pleasant sipper at all. Medicinal, very alcohol forward, no agave. Bad enough that it’s still not worth it for the price for mixed drinks. ”

“Mexican 35% abv. version Pleasant aroma; agave, caramel, vanilla, floral, fruit notes and oak. Some vanilla sweetness, a little agave but very smooth with almost no lingering flavors on the palate. ”

“Incredibly mild nose and palate. Subtle agave on the nose and a hint of vanilla on the palate. Very easy to drink, short but smooth finish. It’s hard to knock anything about it but it’s also not offering much in terms of complexity. ”

“Great aroma of oak, cinnamon, vanilla, butter, citrus and agave. Less depth on the palate. Agave and citrus with a bit less of that vanilla and butter. Really pleasant finish with a lingering buttery agave taste. ”

“So many scents come through, cherry, chocolate, oak, whiskey. The agave gets a bit lost in the background. Tastes almost exactly like it smells. The strongest oak flavor I’ve had in a tequila. Leather, smokey, cherry, and whiskey are all pretty dominant. Not a ton of agave until the finish. Definitely has a bite but also a strong and agave forward aftertaste. ”

“Very pleasant aromas of vanilla, caramel and butterscotch. Almost like vanilla frosting. The least artificial smelling of the Casamigos, but no agave. I definitely don’t get any pepper or agave on the palate either. Lots of vanilla and butter. The finish is short but with no bite at all. Not a bad sipper but really not characteristic of a tequila. ”

“Absolute caramel, vanilla and butter bomb on both the nose and palate. Coupled with how smooth it is, it’s easy to see why so many new tequila drinkers find this so approachable. Little to no agave and an underlining artificial taste and smell. ”

“Fruit, butter, earthy and almost a roasted marshmallow scent on the nose. A lot of agave too. It’s a little more difficult to pick out on the palate. Some citrus and butter with a peppery kick to it as well. ”

“Aroma is a little agave, a lot of alcohol. Kind of overwhelms other aromas. Way better on the palate. Very earthy and peppery. Some grass and citrus as well. Short but pleasant finish. ”

“Pretty subtle nose of melon, citrus and agave but surprisingly strong flavors! I get some vegetal, pepper, agave, citrus and almost an ash sort of taste. A very sweet almost fruit snack like finish, totally unlike most of the vanilla sweet finishes of other tequilas. ”

“All around very subtle but hard not to like. Agave, pepper and vegetal on the nose and palate. Nice lingering finish. Steal at around $30. ”

“Surprisingly sweet and a unique sweet. Notes of apple and citrus. Definitely lost me a little on the finish. Pretty harsh and long alcohol finish. An interesting option and great value for mixed drinks. ”

“Pleasant, sweet vanilla aroma. Flavor is definitely interesting and very sweet. Floral and herbal with some vanilla, not a lot of agave. It’s not as bad as expected but doesn’t taste like an agave spirit. ”

“Loads of depth in the aroma. I get caramel, butterscotch and earthiness. Similar on the palate with a lot of caramel and a bit of leather. Great viscosity and complexity. For $300+ it’s pretty bad value but makes the $40 Codigo tasting set an excellent value.”

“Unfortunately one of the worst sippers I’ve ever tried. The aroma is fine, you get a little citrus and a lot of alcohol. But the citrus flavor is very chemical and artificial and the finish is awful.”

“Pleasantly surprised by this one after reading the rest of the reviews. Celebrity tequila aside, it’s not bad. Not a sugar bomb like a lot of the other ones but also not very smooth or overly complex. A little vanilla and oak, strong alcohol finish. ”

“One of the best bargain blancos. Great for making drinks. Not a lot of complexity on the nose or taste. A lot of agave some notes of cut grass. A little sweet but not overly. ”

“Loads of caramel and vanilla. Tastes like a dupe of the Casamigos Añejo. Definitely has that overly sweetness of an additive tequila but still very good for the price. Nice finish and excellent value. ”

“We must’ve gotten a bad batch because this is so off from what everyone else is saying. Strong alcohol smell with maybe hints of glue and oak. An even stronger pepper on the palate with a lot of burn. Really has to be a bad batch or something but pretty disappointing. Will have to try again. ”
