Tequila Primo 1861 Blanco (NOM 1579)
Don Fulano Blanco Fuerte (100 proof)
Don Fulano Blanco
“Has a good, clean aroma, but not agave forward. A bit of cinnamon and a hint of black licorice on the finish. A solid quality tequila. ”

Campo Bravo Plata
“Walmart’s house brand is $21.00. Yes, a hint of chocolate and orange initially. But it fades to a nice glass of defuser jive. In other words, at $21.00 it’s drinkable. NOM1566 does not make fabulous tequila. And it’s Walmart! At the end of the day, you taste it and be the judge. The finish is more chemical and not too enjoyable. But in a cocktail with a good mixer (fresh fruit), it would be fine. ”

Patrón Cask Collection Sherry Añejo (2021)
“Most definitely, you get the Sherry barrel immediately. It’s impossible to get much more than just the nose of Sherry. Still I do appreciate that since I knew what I was buying before I bought it. Well there is no sweetness, there is a perceived richness. On the finish it seems as if the Tequila is trying to yell it’s name, but the sherry taste still prevails. It is definitely a unique style, but I think this would be fantastic with either a cigar, chocolate or chocolate dessert or a cocktail. ”

Corrido Blanco
“Very drinkable, but the finish is just a bit too hot for me. Almost a burn, but it does fade. And if you use it for fresh made cocktails, it’s more a perfect fit. ”

LALO Tequila Blanco
“Really digging the Lalo! Great fresh agave nose. Mid palate is smooth and round. Finish is smooth and elegant with a bit of white people on the tongue. Definitely a tasty highland tequila. Great job Lalo Gonzalez!”

The Bad Stuff "La Mala" Plata
“A slight funk on the nose blows off after a few minutes. The mid palate has all of the agave characteristics. Also some chocolate notes. The finish is a bit hot. And left me disappointed. It’s called the Bad Stuff, so they may have set the bar low. It’s very drinkable, but in this tasting, I was a bit surprised it couldn’t score higher. I will retaste again. ”

Wild Common Tequila Blanco
“Raw agave. Earthy and vegetal. Entry hints at sweet baked agave. Finish starts smooth and heats up with a little black pepper. The finish is long and memorable. At 42% alcohol (84proof), this is delicious and I will buy more, ASAP!!”
