“On the nose first thing that welcomes you is a mineral note, followed by cooked agave and some apple sweetness. At first sip you are greeted by a beautiful Cooke agave note, accompanied by some slate-mineral, slight vegetative, white pepper, cherry and a hint of molasses sweetness. On the finish the agave continues but as it slowly dies down more of the slate comes through and some vegetation. Tequila is on the younger side but done beautifully where the at agave can shine through and the aging gives some notes that compliment the agave well.”

“On the nose there is balance of cooked agave, oak and black pepper; black pepper is dominant but won’t singe your nose hairs; there is also a faint citrus mandarin-ish note. At first sip you get greeted with a cooked agave note and followed the barrel spices and black pepper. The citrus note makes a quick appearance then dies down quickly. On the finish the black pepper slowly dies down and the barrel spice/oak lingers for a bit longer. Overall great tequila. Definitely one to always have on hand, can be sipped, on the rocks or mixed.”

“On the nose I get a nice cooked agave with a back drop of oak and a subtle hint of pineapple. At first sip you get a nice cooked agave with a hint of nectarine, as the body develops you start getting some baking spice, faint oak and pink and white pepper. On the finish you still get the cooked agave, pink pepper, baking spice but the subtle nectarine comes back and with some added roasted peanuts, never had that as a note but quite pleasing. Very smooth. Great reposado, aged perfectly where the agave/barrel are beautifully balanced, usually leaning one or the other in other reposados.”

“On the nose it has a nice balance of baked agave and vanilla with a nice pronounced oak and fresh cracked pepper. Upon first entry there is a wonderful caramel, baked agave and a touch of maple syrup followed by vanilla and finishes off with a nice pepper and vanilla. The finish does go down a bit quickly but what really gives this tequila a higher score is the value. One of the best tequilas under $40”
