“Not sure what to make of this one. Highly recommended by a clerk (not Total Wine). It’s a certified no additive bottle but obviously that’s not a guarantee you’ll like it. There’s a sweetness that I can’t put a name to, but not the vanilla/buttercream frosting like in some brands. I may need to revisit this one and maybe revise this review. ”

Mi Familia Flores Añejo

“I sampled this at a total wine. They had cases stacked in an aisle. It was awful as i expected since the floor minion pushed it on me for a “great tequila”. I don’t know if the repo or Anejo was worse but both didn’t taste like tequila. Given that the NOM has dozens if not hundreds of brands, it comes as no surprise. ”

“I get the same buttercream frosting flavor that I get from aged Casa Noble. I dislike it intensely. More than likely this comes from additives like vanilla or so I’m told, which makes me sad since many a year ago, Don Julio Repo was my introduction to quality tequila. ”
