Tequila Carrera Tahona Blanco
“Tequila Carrera Tahona opens with a quick burst of pepper, salinity, and grassy minerality—but it fades fast. A higher ABV could help those vibrant notes linger a little longer. ”

Lost Lore Reposado Amburana
“Flashbacks to Saturday Morning Cartoons sitting in front of the television with my buttered Cinnamon Toast. Cinnamon and cooked agave pack a punch with 53%, hitting you over the head like Roadrunner’s ACME anvil but in a very good way. Once this bottle is gone I’ll be hunting for this little blue Smurf screaming, “I’ll get you next time”, in extreme Gargamel fashion!!”

Dulce Vida Añejo
“ At 50% the baking spices drive this big anejo home, rounding the corners with the recharred barrel influence. Let this breathe like a big red wine and the whiskey converts will be a fan…especially at the price point. ”

Cultura 100 Blanco
“Thankful to have received a sample through Agave Swappers. Approached with anticipation knowing Sergio puts such great effort in all of his products. Greeted by cooked agave up front. Pleasantly sweeter than I was expecting. It’s definitely baked sweetness and not manipulated in any way. Mid palate is hit with citrus as white pepper comes behind and shuts the door as it leaves a bit quickly. The tequila’s presence is discernible for a little bit before its time to take another sip. Drinks fast, yet easy. Would be an excellent starting pour to start folks tasting through 1414. ”

Tierra de Ensueño Tequila Blanco
“Agave bomb on aroma and taste! The aroma represents the flavor profile very closely. The flavors are balanced throughout with white pepper, citrus and a subtle brine carrying through the finish. The two week aging in special wheated bourbon barrels ever-so-slightly rounds out the flavor and adds a hint of blonde color in appearance detected against a white background. With reports of a $59.99 MSRP, the value rating is solid with this caliber of juice. ”

Tequila Xoloitzcuintle Joven
“Second favorite of the brand next to Xolo Reposado. Was fortunate enough to try the Joven at the distillery November ‘23 and has sold me on the concept of Jovens. Coming in a 1L bottle at slightly higher proof makes this one of the best values of the well made tequilas on the market.”
