“tried this neat and thought it was maybe a little over hyped. good, but had a very strong taste that I couldn't nail down, something between citrusy and vegetal. well made, but distinctive. Then I tried it in a Tommy's marg and it really shines in this application. great marg, ok sipper. ”

“unpopular opinion but this is just way too floral for me. tastes of old lady perfume and flowers, so overly strong. ”

“Nose is subtle with some oak, cooked agave, and a bit of pepper. Taste is full of cooked agave, pepper, pineapple, a hint of tropical fruit and a balanced sweetness. easy drinking as a sipper, and this would mix well I'm just about any recipe. At the price of 33 USD it is such a fantastic value for an additive free, well made and flavorful tequila. ”

“Nose of cooked agave, pepper, citrus and burnt sugar. round on the palette with peppery spice, slight sweetness and hint of oak. very long, warm finish with baking spices and more cooked agave. A really nice repo to sip on, and a good value at about 50 USD in my area.”

“Subtle nose of agave and a little funk. Some minerality/wet stone aroma as well. medium body in the mouth with a pleasant, lightly oaked and mild agave flavor. Nice but quick finish with a little peppery note to close out. This is good enough to sip but maybe more suited to a good cocktail.”

“Agave, green olive and a hint of citrus and herbaceousness on the nose. taste amplifies the nose, with big cooked agave followed by a very subtle brine note, a little sweet and nice viscosity. I could sip this all night. satisfying and well rounded, with a big full bodied texture. Really good juice.”

“Oak, caramel and cooked agave on the nose. Rich, oak and oily in the mouth, with a satisfying barrel character from the French oak. A bit harsh on the finish, but still very nice sipper at this price. 38% abv purchased in MX.”

“This is a pricey treat but given the average age of the Criollo agaves and the completely traditional production methods, I think it is aligned to the quality of the product. citrus and agave abound on the nose, with a wonderful minerality, and a little brine. nice rich oily body that coats the mouth, with a peppery finish. this is a really enjoyable sipper. ”
