“aroma: warm cooked agave, olives flavor: agave, minerality, some still finish: long, heavier still, spice overall excellent tequila. very fair price at $70ish USD as quality outkicks price point. aroma and finish are this one’s strong spots. the blanco was better IMO. ”

“aroma: pleasant, no alcohol, mostly still and agave flavor: sweet agave, buttery, bit of bourbon finish: pretty short, very smooth, more agave and still overall really happy with this one - i think the gran reserva repo is much better than the ajeno and thus a great value (i paid ~$55 USD). almost drinks like an anejo and is very buttery with more bourbon influence than other repos. ”

“aroma: bit of butterscotch, alcohol, agave, little funk, wet earth flavor: butterscotch, spice, finish: long, spicy, not harsh but not the smoothest ever, nice buttery flavor at the end overall a good anejo, took points off for value bc i paid high 80 USD for it - 60 range would be more aligned with this profile. ”

“Aroma: a bit of leather, some cinnamon, nice but not out of this world Flavor: Sweet and spicy, a little but of bourbon nuance but not much Finish: nice longer finish, smooth, with a little heat Overall: it's a very good tequila but I'm a little underwhelmed - I was expecting more out of this particular variation. While nice, I don't think it aligns with the price or the hype. ”

“aroma: toasted agave, marshmallow flavor: agave, marshmallow, and bourbon. enjoyable. straightforward and clean like other ETs finish: lingers nicely, soft. overall really nice sip, took a few points off for value - there are similar tasting anejos that can be had for much less came back to add points to aroma and taste after the bottle opened up. notes of chocolate, like s’mores. very delicious, but points off for price. i’ve seen it in AZ for $170 and in CA for $110 - ET could ditch the box and it would be a fair price at ~$100 but i get the gift appeal. coming back 3rd time to add point to finish - gets even better the further it opens up. really nice. batch 5 better than batch 6 - deeper flavor, richer caramel color. excellent. ”

“Lot 113-R aroma: light, agave, not overpowering. bit of bubblegum taste: fantastic. very smooth, clean, easy. well cooked agave. nice viscosity too, noticeable on glass finish: touch of spice. lingers without burn. maybe some still. really fantastic overall: very happy with this buy for around 100 at pricey local shoppe. first bottle of forta so wasn’t sure what to expect but i’m sold at first sip. one of best tequilas i’ve had and would be willing to pay again at 100. incredible value at lower prices”

“aroma: light ping of alcohol and fruit. taste: upfront spice with lingering banana. tastes spicy and sweet. finish: little bit of minerality. nice. no lingering burn overall: nice but far from “wow”. overpriced (~$70 USD) for overall package/taste. don’t think i would purchase again. maybe minor to many people, but the glass bottle stopper is really annoying to take off ”
