El Padrino de Mi Tierra Reposado
“Eh, not the worst far from the best. Very artificial tasting with that distinct chemically agave taste. Harsh acetone on the finish. If someone gave it to me I’m not complaining but I would never purchase this for myself ”

Tequila Tromba Reposado
“Very briny to me, have to double check the NOM but it’s a decent tequila. Definitely more of a sipper, as it also has this distinct savory note ”

Patrón Silver
“It’s fine, it’s bland it doesn’t taste like much but it tastes like tequila. If you look at big brands this is the easiest choice since all of the industry titans currently make far inferior products for a much higher price ”

Mijenta Tequila Blanco
“Very sweet and floral on the nose right out of the bottle, typically a sweetness I associate more with a reposado. Same thing on the palate, sweet and floral with a touch of agave once it makes its way to the back of your throat and of course heavy amounts of citrus. Post 20 minute bloom in a glass this tequila shines with much spicier notes snd a healthy amount of black pepper which melds well with the sweetness. The finish is smooth, really smooth with no burn and a nice slight warming feeling, in my opinion the highlight of this tequila. Highly recommend and love Ana Romero’s dedication to sustainability. ”

La Gritona Reposado
“Very sweet and oaky nose. More pepper and spice after allowing to breathe in a glass for 15 minutes. Good natural sweetness, not super complex but very enjoyable. This is the type of sweetness most common place brands are chasing. Very nice tequila with very sustainable practices ”

Milagro Silver
“It’s chock full of additives and overall bland, but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that Milagros aged expressions have been a gate way into better tequila for a few of my friends. While there are some hints of vanilla and burnt sugar it has a more agave forward taste than most of the typical cheap poorly made tequila. While the agave is certainly still not the star of the show, good easier to drink entry level tequila, and a great mixer if you don’t wanna use the good stuff up ”

3 Amigos Organic Blanco
“It’s an interesting tequila. This tastes much better than 3 amigos regular blanco. All of the 3 amigos tequilas that I’ve sampled unfortunately have a harsh and alcoholic bite. This is primarily citrus and white pepper forward on the nose and palate with an alcoholic finish. Very short finish, although not unpleasant ”

El Tesoro Tequila Reposado
“Very agave and black pepper forward on the nose and the start of the palate. Has a very citrusy and floral finish with strong notes of cooked agave and black pepper as well. Goes down smooth without harshness”

Suavecito Blanco
“Vanilla, tiny bit of pepper, and I can’t stress this enough alcohol on the nose. Flavor is nearly identical to the nose with a very profound alcoholic finish, like drinking vodka. Overall very bland and doesn’t taste like much. If you want a similar product that’s easier to find and you don’t care about additives just buy Milagro. Overall, there are much better tequilas you can buy at 40 dollars for 750 ml. ”

1800 Silver
“Chemically without much other flavor, very much just tastes like the additives and nothing else. An acceptable mixer but not good for anything tequila forward ”
