Tequila Ocho Reposado - Widow Jane

“This expression from Tequila Ocho is rested in casks used for aging Widow Jane bourbon, which imparts an interesting flavor to the tequila. Ocho customarily rests its reposados for a relatively short time -- 8 weeks and 8 days -- so this is almost as clear as Ocho's platas. Nose: raw agave, mineral, vegetal with green pepper note Palate: cooked agave, white pepper and dried fruit with a subtle oaky note Finish: smooth, long and warm finish, reminiscent of a quality bourbon This bottling was hard to find but worth a try for reposado fans. ”
