Siembra Alteño Reposado
“Where have you been all my life? This hands down is one of the most unique reposados on the market. Sweet agave, vanilla, caramel, maple flavors give to this sweet bubble gum taste. Incredible finish. Let this thing open up and you will not regret it. Need to find more bottles of this to stash! ”

Ensueño has always been one of our favorite brands with their 4 batch releases of their blanco in Ex - Weller 12 Barrels. Crazy what a different amount of days rested can influence on an expression within days of each other! Now they have released this ex Appleton barrel Repo… and lord have mercy Ensueño has done it again. Obviously very different from their blanco due to barrel influence. Nose: Minerality, tropical fruits, char / burnt smell to it can’t put my finger on it. Taste: Minerality, tropical fruits, cooked sugars, vanilla, barrel spices like a rum! So good, ensueño is so unique and continue to change the game! ”

Valor Tequila Añejo
“Valor known for its high prices (which have come down significantly recently!) and malolactic funk (which I’ve come to love so much). The blanco has been my favorite but now this añejo has been released and we had the chance to try it with the owner Christiana… and what can I say. This anejo just brings it all to the table with an incredible flavor and finish that you never want to end. One of my favorite añejo’s at the moment and will likely be picking up a second bottle. Flavor notes: Butterscotch, light cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, some fruity notes as well. Finish: Long lasting ”

Montagave Blanco Las Rocas
“Aroma: Minerality present like most 1123 with sweet cooked agave! No alcohol to this whatsoever Taste: Wow. I let this rest for about 10 min and the amount of agave up front is incredible, nice notes of minerality present as well. Finish: This is where this bottle really differentiates itself from others! Silky soft finish of cooked agave with no evidence of high proofness to it. The feel is so soft and lasts an eternity! Overall: Very different from anything I have had when it comes to the finish of this and feeling it has! The cement egg really brings out and amplifies the profile! For the price I’d buy a few of these no doubt. ”

Yéyo Joven Luna: Day of the Dead
“Luna is so damn unique 65% repo rested in peach wine cask barrels really sends this joven to a massive aroma of peach in your glass. Taste is a whole unique flavor of agave married to that peach that is incredibly refreshing! With it being 43% it really packs and brings the flavor out of this bottle. Really well done Sergio! It’s a high proof and you can tell but let this sit in your glass for 15 minutes before sipping and enjoy the rollercoaster of flavors and emotions that this thing elicits! Aroma: Smokey Agave, citrus, mint Taste: Smokey, Sweet cooked agave, Citrus, Melon?, Spearmint Finish: Spearmint that seems to linger for a while after sipping this! Incredibly fresh! I need a backup ASAP ”

Tico Tequila Reposado
“Ahh Tico from 1123 A sleeper that not a lot know about as it’s only distributed in UK at the moment… where I found it. Nose: Really good repo herbal with hints of orange peel and citrus, vanilla also catches. Flavor: Agave, vegetal, vanilla with finishing notes of green olive. Very good at 38% which makes it extremely easy to sip! Highly recommend! ”

Cazcanes No. 9 Rosa Blanco
“Cazcanes just doesn’t do it for me. Not a massive fan of Rosas but this one carry’s quite a bit of alcohol burn and bitterness (yes I let it rest for 20 min)… not worth its price tag. Nose- alcohol, cinnamon, pepper Taste- agave, alcohol, pepper, sweetness (cherries?) ”

Entremanos Tequila Blanco
“@TequilaSlingers Josh Rating: Nose: Minerality present with a small hint of agave sweetness. Fruity notes present as well. Taste: Nice cooked agave, with vegetal / herbaceous notes to it. Not much more than that for me. I like it, easy drinker with a nice long finish. ”

El Tesoro de Don Felipe Paradiso
“@tequilaslingers review from Josh Paradiso was one of my first bottles that was a high priced $180 XA. All I can say is wow, it’s so unique in the way that El Tesoro Paradiso even though is an XA manages to spotlight the agave first and complements with an abundance of flavors from oak, vanilla, fruity essence. Very good and highly recommend this special one! ”

El Tesoro Blanco
“ET Blanco is probably one of the most under rated Blancos out there. It’s a bit pricier than others such as Lalo… however I prefer El T over Lalo and others near that price point so willing to spend the few extra bucks. Mouth full of agave, with a nice finish, very little ethanol feel to this one. ”

Caballito Cerrero Chato Reposado 46
“This bottle is incredible! A mouthful of different flavors that come in waves. Notes: Agave with a sweet blend of grapes Taste: Subtle agave front with a mezcal smokiness to it which then transcends to a grapevine. Fruity backend very smooth with no ethanol burn. Absolutely incredible journey with each sip! Finish: Slightly oily finish with nothing but white wine vibes Overall this bottle was one of my favorites of all times for a reposado. It’s different as you can appreciate a lighter chato flavor with a mash of fruit to follow. What an experience! ”
