Don Julio Primavera
“Smells better than it tastes. But for the price I am drinking and enjoying it. Heavy on orange and pepper notes. ”

El Tesoro Tequila Añejo
“Agave and oak forward. The note hits at a slightly sweeter expression, but the drink hits without any sweetness. Some herbal notes came out in the finish. ”

Entremanos Tequila Blanco High Proof
“This overproof echoes the regular Blanco made by Entremanos nicely. The aroma is excellent much like the standard blanco and the finish is way nicer than the initial sip, which is a little more bite than some of the other overproof tequilas that I’ve tried by comparison. Though the 2nd pour way better than the first for sure. ”

Entremanos Tequila Blanco
“This Blanco is very well don’t. Which make me excited to hunt for the other blanco varieties they produce. The agave taste on the nose and flavor was just right. The nose hinted at a much sweeter sip, however the taste was more of what I’d expect with a quality blanco. ”

Codigo 1530 Rosa
“Decent nose, with agave and light floral notes. Pepper overpowers the taste, but the finish makes up for it. ”

Casa Mexico Reposado
“Decent bar selection for a Repo. Very light sweetness probably makes this more desirable than it really is at a lower end bar. But it is nice alone in an inch and probably made a decent mixer. ”

LALO High Proof 2025
“The first wiff, I had to look and make sure I had just opened a tequila bottle, after letting it breathe the flavors of this high proof came out. The agave is muted in the nose, but very forward on the taper and finish. I got some nutty flavor in the taste as well. Maybe pistachio less salt. Otherwise I found this an enjoyable high proof that I will gladly share with friends. ”

Cenote Tequila Añejo
“An enjoyable aged Añejo with solid barrel influence that hit just perfectly for getting through a bottle with friends. Oak, caramel, and spices came out in both the aroma and taste. ”

Arette Artesenal Blanco Suave
“Definitely a high-end Blanco worth of its price tag. Enjoyed the flavor profile slightly less than its overproof relative. Still this is example I was happy to try and is at the top for recommendations for this profile. ”

Gran Centenario Añejo
“A great staple Añejo. Basic aromas that are consistent with the notes and a taste profile that is very agreeable. I can see why this is a favorite in the restaurant business. Solid price point too. ”

Don Fulano Imperial (5 yr)
“The Agave hits hard on the nose, as well as at the taste and in the finish. Oak is present at the start and finish, and there after a bit the leather and a very slight fruit taste comes out. This was a lovely find and am very happy with the profile. I also love the breakout in styling the bottle to be very different from the rest of their line. ”

Don Fulano Añejo
“The aroma wins over the flavor. The nose on this with the Taste of Imperial would be an amazing tequila. The flavor profile is ok, and for me the finish is short. I think I was just unimpressed with the price more than the juice. I will finish the bottle for sure though! Nose: Agave, caramel, vanilla, vegetal/earthy, and fruity Flavor: light agave, caramel, butter, fruity and spice ”

Maestro Dobel Diamonte
“Very smooth first sip. Light agave taste with complex flavors on the tongue. The drawback is it feels a little too sweet and filmy on the finish. Otherwise this is a nice treat that has a complex profile from start to finish that made it a fun to drink. ”

Eight Reserve Añejo
“This is a fun bottle. However past the nose on this it is too sweet. The aroma is fun and has a light agave and a fruity, peppery smell that is blended with other caramel and vanilla with fruit hiding in the wings. The taste has no agave and is a very light caramel and vanilla flavor masked by cinnamon, a mint and maybe even licorice. It is a little overwhelming and ruins the finish too, which is just a peppery lingering flavor. Beautiful bottle though. ”

Casamigos Tequila Reposado
“Hi marks on the Aroma. The buttery nose was a little much mixed in with a lot of wonderful scents. So much happening here. Taste falls flat though. Finish is short and a so-so transition. The notes are fairly accurate. ”

Espolon Añejo
“The nose: Alcohol, light agave, and citrus (in that order). Taste: caramel, pepper, and citrus. A slight medicinal taste that was only present on the first pour. Finish: fair transiting with the same taste profile, with a nice sweet slow burn. ”
