Initial Nasal Impact: Warming. Aroma: Cooked agave, mineral, honeysuckle, tropical fruit, petrichor, brine, cut grass, pepper, sweet potato, wet leaves. Mouthfeel: Buttery with sufficient alcohol. Flavor: Tropical fruit, cooked agave, peppermint, brine, earthy, pepper, sweet potato, creamsicle. Finish: Medium with cooked agave, tropical fruit and peppermint. The retro nasal brings out the creamsicle notes which stays around on the finish. Value: Bought at Total Wine for $21.99 (nationwide mid $20's). I give this a 10 on value rating. This blows away most (all?) budget friendly brands. Balanced, complex, harmonious. Roberto Lopez is producing amazing quality tequila at an insane price point.
Great bang for your buck! Like the blanco, very similar notes, slight hints of cinnamon / brown sugar spice on top of the beautiful yet unique agave notes theyve created, great stuff
Nice agave and caramel on the nose. Earthy, slightly guy banana. On the palate, great burst of flavor for a 40 ABV. I get cooked agave, vanilla and caramel.
