Zumbador High Proof I’m a big fan of Zumbador Blanco, so I had to give the High Proof a try. Coming out of El Sabino, this one definitely comes with a little more attitude. Lots of cooked agave, pepper and citrus, with a touch of sweetness in the background. The higher proof gives it more intensity and texture, but the agave still takes center stage. Bold, lively and full of character, with a nice lingering finish. Definitely not a shy tequila—and that’s part of the fun.

Aroma - cooked agave, citrus, minerals, a little smoke, some caramel and vanilla Taste - similar to aroma with black pepper throughout, citrus and a little vanilla on the finish that lingers for a minute with pepper hanging on the longest. A good tequila at a great value

Although a little thin on the palate & finish, this is an exceptional tequila especially when considering the price. Quite earthy and vegetal for me with a sweet, delicate arrival. Some light citrus, lime and minerality as well. I do wish it had a little more “umph” to it, but I suppose that’s where the high proof offering steps in. My first 10 for value!
