“Nose. First hit is butterscotch off the hope. Cooked agave. Hint of vanilla and distant memories of barrel room. Taste. Cooked agave. Vanilla and dark chocolate. Slight metallic Copper. Finish short and sweet with a mild pepper lingering much longer. Interesting says 80%anejo and 20% XA. This comes threw but I wonder if this was intentional or a mistake. ;). ”

“Nose. Weird combo of minerals and fruit. Caught me off guard. Cooked agave. White pepper. Fresh cool ocean breeze. Taste. That’s a spicy meatball! High proof is apparent and up front but not over powering. Will warm you on a cold Canadian winter. Cooked agave. Earth. Pepper again. Smoke is very minimal for me. Way in the background and probably only looking for it from other’s comments. Finish. Nice warm mouth feel. Medium dry finish. I’m not getting the smoke to the extent others say and it doesn’t remind me of Mezcal light either. But I’ve had some smoky mezcals and enjoy scotch too. Like others the price tag is the biggest distraction from this one. Got it as a birthday gift to myself otherwise would of passed on it. ”

“Nose it’s like standing outside a barrel room. Not in it but just outside on a breezy day with the smell of bleeding oak barrels wafting out and mixing with the blossoms then mixing with the fertile dirt and vegetal agave. Maybe the churro cart is down the street. Taste. Slightly medicinal with sweet cooked agave and cookie dough Finish. Hint of white pepper nice tingle in the center of your tongue. Solid XA. Not overly oak. But still lots of character. ”
