Acre Largo Tequila Blanco
“On the nose, I get cooked agave, black pepper, vanilla, but not in an artificial way, and a hint of anise on the end. Not very complex on the nose, yet very inviting. Flavor is lots of cooked agave with a black pepper finish. I also get notes of anise and floral with a mineral note I assume is coming from their water source. Very easy sipper with an enjoyable medium long finish. Similar to the nose flavors aren’t very complex but this is an enjoyable tequila. This tequila is on the sweeter side but I don’t suspect additives. I’ve been told they are going through the TMM additive free program later this year. For the price point this is a great value tequila, would sit well in a cocktail and makes a great sipper. Would recommend this to new tequila drinkers since it is so approachable. ”

Caballito Cerrero Chato Reposado
“Aroma - Cooked Agave, slight notes of Carmel and butterscotch, minerals, wet stone, subtle oak notes, cinnamon and baking spices. Flavor - creamy mouthfeel with notes of cooked agave, oak, unripe banana, cinnamon, black pepper and a slight peanut note on the finish. The finish was medium long and enjoyable. This is a treat, well rounded reposado that keeps the agave as the star of the show while incorporating the best parts of the barrel. I was impressed with the finish for a 40% abv product. ”
