“no idea what this costs. I’ve had this at a bar a few times and it’s totally phenomenal. I’m not usually a reposado drinker but this here is the one”

“oh ya totally this is good. excellent. ”
More info →“smells like nail polish with a singular simple syrup or touch of vanilla sweetness. tastes like concentrated sugar and sanitizer. I know where this is supposedly made (which I love) but this really isn’t doing it for me. shocked how anyone could have this in 90’s..”

Insólito Blanco
“I found this to be terrible. I found it to have fake sweet characteristics. single note, flat on the palette. vanilla notes on the nose. bland sweet agave with a little pepper. not heat. drinking a beer before drinking this again. ”
More info →“it’s decent and a great distillery but everything is just fine to me and I don’t care to drink it again and not recommending so the numbers are low. others should give it a chance if you have to try it. ”

El Tesoro Reposado (White Label)
“denton import. this was so delicious. swift me to a sunny warm beach or sunny afternoon outside and the bottle would be nearly gone. however had I not know what it was I would have said it’s a solid repo. I think that speaks to the level people are making tequila these days. really great options (and unfortunately others not so great). not that this isn’t good but it’s tame to me. It’s almost too easy drinking. it’s gentle toasty on the nose. Very approachable. the profile is dialed it’s so pure and balanced. finish is spot on. sampled in London at a bar that had no idea what they had. ”

Wild Common Tequila Blanco
“Lote 2. a remarkably fantastic tequila! aroma: cinnamon on first opening. prepped agave floral. taste: minerals sweet agave pepper. fried fruit. fresh. very easy sipping. my only complaint is that I find this profile a tad sweet (not a fake sweet though)”
More info →“I feel bad rating this like this but it’s getting hit because, maybe i’d drink it again and no i’m not gonna recommend it. and it’s not really something I’m going to pay the price for. that said maybe I have a bad batch. I know the brand is reputable and I’ve loved their other expressions. The aroma is nice, light, sweet, caramel, cantaloupe, faint cherry. it tanks on the pallete, it’s so thin and like water. I get so little, no viscosity, no finish. hints of toasted coconut but that’s the lingering presence. dried fruit, I hardly want to finish this tbh. ”
More info →“Lote 1 on back. lote 270 on backside front label. 2022. mineral aroma, bright agave, hint of must, slightly sanitary smelling, little bit of alcohol. palette was pepper, agave, minerals. A bit hot for my liking even through I drink high proof and and other spirits 45,50,55,60 and so on. Too me this didn’t quite have the refined balance. Was it good? yes certainly. Am I eager to have it again? not really. I’ll try it again in a few weeks or months. ”
