“Very good to sip slowly at a great price point. I brought a bottle to a party over the summer and it was a hit with everyone. ”

Fortaleza Añejo
“I made a video review of the amazing Anejo a few days ago that I will post on YouTube soon. It is my first anejo, and I think that I like blancos better, I’m not a big fan of the oak taste. But now a few days and pours later, the oak has mellowed, more of the agave sweetness is shining through, also a nice caramel and plum taste. The color and aroma is lovely. Really fantastic, so good! Lite 67-A ”

Mijenta Tequila Blanco
“I had this beautiful blanco at Winters in Pacifica, CA while on vacation. What can I say but it’s a very good Tequila. The nose is sweet cooked agave, herbs. The. Palette has agave with a light smooth sweetness, citrus, hint of mint. A clean mineral finish. Just wonderful. ”

Tequila 512 Blanco
“I’m still learning about tequila being that I coming from mezcal and in fact this is my first blanco which at first I enjoyed, but now that I at the end of the bottle I’m finding it much too sweet for my taste, it seems somewhat artificial to me, does anyone else think that there are additives in this? At this point I’m too inexperienced to know. Nose: sweat, citrus, a little bit of alcohol, very strong vanilla, sometimes chocolate. Palate: citrus, vanilla/chocolate, light burn. Mouthfeel: nice viscosity, smooth. Finish: short, mostly clean tasting, but one note that I don’t like some much, some alcohol. All in all not bad but I think there is a blanco out there for me to find that will be much more to my liking. I made a video tasting this tequila https://youtu.be/VNq17sAAC7M?si=WHpwTAqoazr1fKaH ”

La Gritona Reposado
“Wow, this is different but my first thought is refreshing, I’m coming from Mezcal so I never thought the idea of a tequila as being refreshing so I’m surprised. It’s very clear really looks like a Blanco, nice legs on the glass. Nose: cooked agave, citrus, vegetal, bright, refreshing. Palette: light refreshing, very nice mouth feel, a bit of grass, green pepper, citrus, but everything very light in taste, not very complex, clean. Finish is quick, short. I want something more, but this is a nice change. Update: After a few more times, I fell that this reposado is not for me, I’m glad that I bought the 375ml bottle. Update 2. Well, I just shot a video review, and I like this reposado a bit better, than I first did, this time I got a bit more of the Agava…more oak in the finish. ”
