Alcohol, agave, pepper nose. Vanilla, agave, medicinal alcohol nose. Fake burnt sugar finish.

For $20 USD and additive free not bad.. Had a tiny sample, would like to revisit later

Aroma is medicinal and a hint of solvent. Where is the agave? Gotta be that diffuser influence. Flavor is artificial of cinnamon, oak and vanilla. Thank goodness the finish disappears quickly.

After tasting a few bottles with more defined personalities, Campo Bravo came across as clean, approachable, and technically well-made, but also noticeably reserved. Nothing feels out of place, yet it never quite steps forward to make a lasting impression. Nose The aroma opens with funky fermentation and mineral notes, followed by gentle oak and subtle barrel influence. It’s clean and inviting, though the overall profile remains fairly restrained. Taste The palate brings black pepper and light baking spices supported by soft oak and mild tannins. The fermentation character carries through nicely, creating a balanced sip that is enjoyable without becoming overly complex or aggressive. Finish The finish leaves lingering pepper and baking spices with a gentle warmth. It’s smooth and pleasant, but relatively short and doesn’t evolve much after the initial spice fades. Overall Campo Bravo Reposado is a solid, easy-drinking tequila that does everything well but never truly distinguishes itself. I actually found myself enjoying it more than several bottles from my first reposado flight, yet it felt like a tequila designed to play it safe. It’s polished, approachable, and one I would happily pour again, but it lacks the memorable character that separates a good reposado from a great one. Score: 86/100

I tried the Campo Bravo Reposado Tequila at a Mexican restaurant and was really let down. It lacked the rich, balanced agave flavor I was hoping for. The taste was thin and one-dimensional, with little complexity or depth. It didn’t have the warmth or character that makes a good reposado enjoyable. Overall, it felt underwhelming and didn’t measure up to other reposados I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Mexican 35% abv. version, lote: L01090618, bottled on 23 DIC 09, tasted on 9-10-24. Color: cooked agave with a hint of sweetness, light vanilla, hint of acidity, light citrus, hint of wood note, light cooked apples and pears, hint of orange. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, quite surprising for its 35% abv.! Finish is medium to almost medium long, light cooked agaves with a hint of sweetness, cooked apples and pears with light citrus aromas persist.

Aroma is agave, pepper, earth, and alcohol. Palate is agave, anise, pepper, earth, oak, alcohol, and barrel spice. Finish is good- pepper agave barrel spice with pepper.

Cinnamon

Great smell of fruity agave with some cinnamon. Flavors start the same but get a little hot in back to drown it out and the heat keeps coming into finish. Great tequila for the price. Good flavors just a little hot.

Alcohol is overpowering on the nose. If you can get past that, there are some other distinguishable flavours: sweet candy smell, vanilla, cantaloupe. Taste is overly sweet with cinnamon spice. I don't see this as an improvement on the Plata.

Nose tequila. Tastes harsh and strange.

I liked the repo better than blanco. It doesn’t have that salty character like other diffuser made tequilas. It was smoother than I anticipated. For the price and profile, it isn’t gut rot. I’d recommend to novice slowly moving around and experimenting.

Won’t buy this again. Tried at a restaurant. Overly alcoholic and burns. Pass.

Christ, is this even Tequila? I get no taste of Agave whatsoever. Not sure if it’s because of the diffusers or the agave is just really bad. Not good, not good. Got it out of curiosity, thankfully it was just A shooter poured into a glass.
