NOM 1509 | This is the Mexico version at 35% ABV. Aroma of cooked agave, cut grass, citrus. Flavor of cooked agave, black pepper, minerals, citrus and brine. Medium finish.

NOM 1509 | Very thin but nice, surprising for a celebrity tequila and a nice bottle. It does have a bitter finish which takes away some points.

NOM 1509 | Yes, a different style of blanco. I think “refined” and “polished”, as a good many of the strong notes of a blanco were softened. What came through loud and clear was the white pepper finish - a pleasing “slow burn” that lingered on and on. My only issue is that the smoothing left a bit of a taste gap in the mid-palate. I would’ve loved a bit more zing but all in all a very fine stylistic expression without undue additives to alter the taste profile.

NOM 1509 | Nice smell, the cooked Agave is there. It has only 35% abv, so very smooth.

NOM 1509 | Lot 02/23 View: totally transparent. Tear adhesion more than acceptable for a 35º. Aroma: cooked agave, autoclave, citrus, pepper. Flavor: cooked agave, pepper, citrus. It tastes a little like an autoclave but without being too present. Entremanos is much more scandalous in that sense. A little pineapple. Well, nothing spectacular. As It opens, I feel It lacks character.

NOM 1509 | Very aromatic, floral, grassy, touch fennel..whole garden.. mouthfeel is thin because low proof. flavor are pretty solid but finish falls off.

NOM 1509 | Lote: LT001, bottled on 18-11-2022, tasted on 10-7-23. Aroma: light cooked agave, briny, acidity, a touch of smoke sensation, alcohol sensation is medium despite being 35% abv. A touch of pepper spiciness. Palate: soft & sweet, light bitterness, just a touch of cooked agave, alcohol sensation is also medium on the palate, at the end a light cotton candy sensation emerges, which doesn’t feel natural. Astringent from acidity. Finish is medium to medium long, light astringent sensation with a touch of cotton candy and a touch of black pepper note that fade away rather quickly.

NOM 1509 | Peppery on the nose with a faint cooked agave note, some lemon zest present. Thin on the palate due to its 35 abv. No depth, easy to drink, best as mixer not much as sipper, smooth, no kick. This brand is just not for me.

NOM 1509 | Here is something Defrente. This high quality blanco certainly if different. It's difficult to describe. Nice and clean agave on the nose. High mineral and agave taste with some green apple and floral notes. A Definite pepper tone on the back of the tongue and nice slow warmth as it fades. Great find from NOM 1509.
