“ Very unique on the nose, smoked agave, hint of burnt wood reminds me of mezcal but the flavor is semi sweet, fresh, bitter,citrusy, minerality, the whole agave is present cooked and raw. Finish is long oily and fresh celery. I absolutely loved it!”

“I have been becoming more and more fond of high proof tequila. Calle 23 Criollo does not disappoint, it does check all the boxes for me. It’s pricey and getting harder to find but definitely worth it. Aroma and flavor hit both cooked and raw agave with citrus notes of grapefruit, lime and mint. Finish is a little bitter (grapefruit) but very enjoyable.”
