“Nice sweet agave for an extra Anejo. When I did a tasting at el Murcielago Tequileria in Monterey, MX, Arette extra Anejo was a stand out for the way it expressed the fruit. Good bit of jalapeño, bell pepper and oiliness of oak in the nose, light bodied entry, orange and citrus spice in finish along with vanilla, apricot, chocolate. At $100+, it is still a great value and lot of nuanced complexity.”
