“My reaction to the first taste was “ooh this is good”. For aroma I got heavy vegetal with a little wet cement or mineral. Taste was agave, alcohol a bit of pepper and mineral. Finish is full, long lasting and the natural sweetness lingered. I really like this tequila and will include it in my next blind tasting to really see how it stacks up. ”

“Aroma - alcohol, agave, mineral Taste - very light sweetness, agave, hint of mint and a little thin, some burn Finish - sweetness fades fast, a little short or dull but pleasant. I would drink again and recommend. At $50 it’s a great bargain.”

“Very pleasant sip. Cooked agave on the nose with some spice, caramel, barrel spice and oak. Flavor was similar but tasted some fruit notes and light sweetness as well. I like this tequila and the story behind it. For me the aromas and flavors are subtle if not a bit muted and I will continue have it in my lineup. ”

“No Agave aroma I could pick out. Vanilla & alcohol aroma with vanilla, oak and sweet (a little too sweet). Short finish not very complex. I thought I may be able to pick out notes specific to Tamaulipas but not knowing what to look for, I found nothing. ”
