“After my first pour; just wow. This has many layers and the tasting experience over 30-ish mins evolves like no other Anejo. So much going on with this one and perfectly balanced. This is a full bodied flavor bomb! On the palate, I get a wonderful punch of cinnamon, cooked agave, then some orange peel, toasted caramel, oak, apple, hint of pear and pepper. The finish is complex and elegant. First thing that came to mind on the finish was buttery vanilla/cinnamon French toast with a sweet agave kiss. Camino anejo is a banger and does not take a back seat to any of the leading premium anejo’s on the market. This is a spectacular sipper! ”

Incredible balance and the high brix sweet agave lingers on your palate nicely. Heavy tears on the glass. The General HP belongs amongst the best of the best premium blanco’s. Knocks Fortaleza still strength off the pedestal. Highly recommended!! ”

“The Ruby wine cask version drinks pretty hot, similar to the Apple Brandy cask. After letting sit for 45mins. Things did soften up a bit. Get some cooked agave and fruit on the palate then finished with a punch a pepper and some alcohol burn. Good, but not a rebuy for me. Better options available for the price this sells for. ”
