El Caballito Cerrero Blanco (46%)
“Very unique. On the palate an evolving complexity….agave, hint of smoke, earth and something vegetal. Lot of layers here. Finish has great hang time and agave is the headliner. Every sip makes you think. Super enjoyable! Nothing like it. Perhaps somewhat similar comparison to Cazcanes Nuestras Raices agave spirt??”

“Nice palate and finish. Get some oak, vanilla and cooked agave. Simple, straightforward anejo and very clean. Is terrific in a margarita (with no sugar) and an orange squeeze. ”

Chamucos Extra Añejo
“CASK Strength 44.4% ABV. | Once you give this some time to rest, the flavor bomb with many evolving layers dance on your palate. Viscous / silky mouthfeel. Toasted caramel, sweet cooked agave, rich oak. Finish is spectacular with a pleasant hang time that brings out baking spices, fruit and vanilla, with a smooth fade of roasted agave. A premium sipper that ranks with the best EA’s on the market. My goodness this is good! ”

Get some cooked agave and fruit on the palate then finished with a punch a pepper and some alcohol burn. Good, but not a rebuy for me. Better options available for the price this sells for. ”

“Smooth sipper and barrel forward. Agave is behind the curtain. Caramel, oak with a hint of butterscotch. Suspicious of whether is additive free. ”

“Alcohol forward, nail polish and tastes like medicine. Burn on the finish is unpleasant. Blah, not for me and maybe can be tolerated in a margarita. Hard pass. ”

Smooth and a very unique balance that evolves over time. Crisp/clean/pure. This one is meant to be savored slowly. Needs a little time to open up / rest, then the agave love delights your palate. Is a dangerous sipper…just keep wanting more. One of my new favorite top shelf blanco’s. Just spectacular, this is an agave banger; highly recommend. ”

“LOT 200b. | Palate and finish: Pure/clean/crisp SWEET agave with a creamy/buttery/oily delight and a slight vanilla kiss that lingers. Super smooth, all agave and just flat out fantastic! Saved opening this special lot 200b for National Tequila Day today and it is exceptional! One of the most pleasant blancos I have ever tasted. The bagazo agave fibers…sure adds to the flavor bomb. This is a luxurious tasting experience for sure. Is ridiculously good. Wish I had more than one bottle. Where can I find more?!?! ”
