“Aromas of agave and pepper Flavors of cooked agave, stonefruit, and citrus pith. Finishes cleanly with flavors of sweet agave and sour fruit, with a hint of black pepper. This is great neat or for palomas. This blanco is a good value if you can get it for $50 USD or less. I also love that the company has a Maestra distiller, and the company is a certified B Corp.”

“aroma of cooked agave and minerals, with a hint of smoke. Flavor of cooked agave Finish is clean, but a little too much burn for my preference. Value is actually very good. It's a very decent blanco for only about $25 USD. This seems like a blanco that I would keep around for cocktails.”

“Aroma is sweetly rich with notes of vanilla, oak, and sweet cream. Flavor is sweet and rich, like brown sugar. It might be a great dessert spirit, if the sweetness didn't taste artificial. Finish evolves from a very sweet caramel into an artificial fruit flavor. I hoped for much more from a tequila this expensive, especially from an extra añejo. Personality, it's too sweet for me. For me, this is only good as a dessert drink, or maybe for some cocktails. ”

“Aromas of cooked agave, oak, pepper, and baking spice. Flavors of cooked agave, vanilla, oak, and a hint of smoke. Finishes mostly smoothly with flavors of cooked agave, oak, and smoke. This is a wonderful añejo. This is truly a sipping tequila. The only issue we have is deciding whether or not it is worth $100 USD per bottle. I don't think I'll know, myself, until I've drank this several more times. ”

“Aroma of oak and agave, with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. Flavors of cooked agave, and oak. It's delicious, but there's a bit of a rough edge to it. Finishes with the flavor of sweet agave. The only major issue with this tequila is the price. It seems to go for about $75 USD, or more. But, I feel like you can get equally good reposados for about $15 less.”

“Aroma of alcohol, with hints of pepper, and cooked agave. Despite alcohol dominating the smell, it is not displeasing. Flavors of alcohol and cooked agave. The flavors are simple, but they're much deeper. The texture is pleasingly thick. Finish is sweet and clean. The finish is sweeter than I expected, given the high proof. But, it's not too sweet. There's a mild numbing sensation, on account of the high proof, accompanied by flavors of cooked agave. It's a simple, yet delicious tequila. The only thing against this tequila is the intimidating price. It seems to commonly sell for $70 USD and up. So, I think I would only recommend this tequila to fans of high proof tequilas, or someone looking to get something for a special occasion. ”

“Aromas of agave, citrus, and lime. Flavors of agave, pepper, and lime. Finishes cleanly and sweetly. This is a wonderful tequila. I think I would recommend picking this up for about $60 USD or less. More than that feels like too much. And, you might be happier with the similarly flavored Lalo for under $40. Lote 8B”

“Aroma of black pepper, cinnamon, and alcohol. Flavors of cooked agave, citrus, and hints of pepper. The texture is thick Finishes with flavors of agave, and an alcoholic numbing on the tongue. This tequila befuddled me. I had a hard time detecting its specific aromas and flavors. But, it was always enjoyable. It's worth picking up if you can get it for $60 or less.”

“Aroma is peppery and floral, but faint. Flavors of vegetal, mellow fruits, and a touch medicinal. Finishes with hints of medicinal herbs and pepper, tapering off smoothly. This isn't an amazing tequila, but the price is. You get a nice and interesting tequila for about $30 USD per Liter.”

“Aroma of cooked agave, oak, and faint citrus Flavors of agave, pepper, and perhaps cinnamon Finishes fairly clearly It's a fine tequila for about $47 USD. Maybe I'm spoiled now. But, for about the same value, you could buy something better, like El Tesoro or G4.”

“Aroma of minerals, vegetal, and perhaps mint Flavors of minerals, fruit, cooked agave, and black pepper. Texture is thick without feeling like syrup. Finishes flavorfully of cooked agave, and an impression of anise. This tequila is great, especially if you can get it for under $50 USD. It's great for anyone who likes vegetal tequila or botanical spirits.”

“Aroma is fine but simple. Flavors of cooked agave, vanilla, and oak. Finishes with notes of cooked agave and vanilla. There's a bit of an alcoholic tingle on the finish. But that's acceptable at this price. This añejo is only exceptional because of it's price. For only about $35 USD you get a very pleasant añejo. If you want a budget añejo, this is a great option. If you don't care for oak flavors, buy this añejo or Familia Camarena. If you love oak flavors, try 1800. ”
