“NOM 1068 Agave, spice (cinnamon, pepper), tropical fruit, citrus, caramel, oak was very present and then went away. Over ripe green pepper and minerality trying to come through. Pleasant and inoffensive with no pop. The complexity is very subtle. Maybe should be a high proof with less time in the barrel. ”

“Lote 43-A -8/8/24 Electra Metropolis rooftop Athens, Greece with a view of the Acropolis. Been looking for this lote since 2017/2018 when I first heard about it.. What an amazing place to stumble upon it. Butterscotch, agave, vanilla, oak, cherry/tree fruits, some spice... a bit of heat. Very rich and balanced. Heavy oily mouth feel w a very long finish. ”

Tastes under-ripe, lacks aroma, flavor and finish. But $26/1.75L makes an enjoyable margarita that keeps my partner from using one of the $70 Blancos on the shelf. “It’s fine” ”

“NOM 1599 Complex nose! Not much burn considering the proof. Sweet, fruity and caramelized agave, herbaceous lavender and anise, white pepper, citrus, grass, lactic funk that reminds me of going to the Cheese House in Amish country. Medium oily mouth feel and long finish. Excellent in a margarita. Subbed a splash of fresh orange for orange liquor to let ‘er shine. Wish it were actually affordable. Great stuff. Lost a lot on value. ”
