“The finish on this leaves me disappointed. I detect a certain bitterness on the long finish. There is also a long astringency that’s not bad. But it sticks with you. Nice front flavor. Aroma is nothing special. But it’s a pretty good value so overall solid. ”

“Lemon and fruit on the nose. Pepper and cinnamon in the front taste. Pineapple and cinnamon in the long but clean finish. Not a lot of sweetness. It’s pricy. Understandably so because this is a blanco but rest a long time in stainless and it is vintage dated. Probably as expensive to make as an extra anejo. ”

“Amazing finish. It’s got zip, if that’s a description. Nice clean finish. A little higher proof. A unique flavor profile. The mix of barrels definitely comes through. ”

“Heavy cooked agave aroma and on the taste buds. You get some nice pepper as well. Lingers clean, but long on the palette. It’s amazing that something this good is roughly 50 bucks for a bottle. You’d be hard pressed to find something better for less and this certainly holds its own against the pricier bottles. ”

“Upon opening the bottle you get big cooked agave. Same in the taste buds with that first sip. Agave, cinnamon honey. A fantastic clean finish and just incredibly easy to drink. The price point on this can be a little higher than average, but it’s also quite a bit better than average. A marvelous sipper. ”

“Great smooth balanced finish. Cooked agave and a bit oaky. But the flavors just meld together beautifully. A definite recommend from me. Great value when you can pay less than 60 for a bottle that tastes like this. ”

“Great aromas and pepper on the taste buds. Plenty of agave. A bit of an oily finish. But a nice drink. There is great variability in pricing depending where you get it. As a $56 bottle it’s a great value. But I’ve seen it $20 higher per bottle. Not as much of a value at that point. ”

“Agave caramel and vanilla. Nice clean taste. One of my favorites that I don’t revisit often because of price. Particularly in PA for some reason. $86 a bottle. Now I had the opportunity to pay $63 in Santa Fe New Mexico from a CVS. I live being able to pick up my prescriptions and my tequila at the same place. ”

“Oak agave and honey on the aroma. Big citrus on the taste. You can literally taste all the fruit. Short finish. Of course when I say short finish I mean that it’s pleasant. Very clean. You do get the good bourbon like flavor and aroma from bourbon barrels. ”

“Pepper forward and lots of agave cooked flavor. So a tasty treat at the front end. Tremendous citrus when first poured. But after opening up I found the aromas fleeting. I was not pleased with the long aftertaste which was a bit funky and not clean. But this is priced is a tremendous value. Good sipper but I could see this for mixing as well. ”

“A higher proof version but you wouldn’t know it. Smooth yet complex layers make this a nice special edition. Not inexpensive. But a tasty treat. ”

“A nose of apricot honey right out of the bottle. Some of the best aromas I get from a tequila. But not to be outdone by the taste. You get big agave but some pepper on the front end. A clean tight finish. No weird lingering things on the after taste. Lot 204B. ”
