“Very bright aroma with notes of fresh fruit and agave The flavor is very layered, first getting hit by the agave, then a honey-like flavor, finishing with oak and vanilla The finish is smooth with notes of caramel and a hint of fruit from the aroma It’s hard to justify the cost for the bottle, but I do think it’s worth tasting at least a pour if you get the chance. ”

“You definitely get notes of the Cabernet wine barrels this was rested in. The nose has a distinctly more fruity smell to it than most tequilas, especially blancos, but it doesn’t smell artificial. The flavor leads with that same fruit flavor, hints of floral and vanilla, and finishing with cooked agave. I’m very pleased with this private barrel batch. ”
