“This is a very elegant and delicious tequila. Lots of cooked agave notes, with a noticeable but balanced barrel influence. There is little sweetness, but lots of interesting flavor. A bit of subtle smoke as well. This one reminds me more of scotch whisky than tequila, but it has clear agave notes to balance the drying barrel notes. ”

“Really good anejo! Beautiful cinnamon-like nose with a lovely palate and a muted finish. Some cooked agave is present but not a lot. Blissfully free of sweetness.”

“This one didn’t blow me away. Interesting minty notes and generally a pleasant sip, but not my favorite. Easy, flavorful drink though.”

“Lovey minty nose with a fresh grassy palate and long peppermint finish. Nice fresh Blanco. Tastes like additive flavouring to me though.”

“Well, this is an additive flavored anejo - agave fans need not apply. It tastes great, just not like tequila. I was an idiot and didn’t check the NOM - the 1414 version I’m assuming will be closer to the real thing.”

“Very nice Reposado. The oak barrel notes really come through without any bitter tannins. There’s almost a white wine presence - perhaps the oak barrels previously held wine. Anyway, an interesting and delicious tequila.”

“Very light fresh nose, with agave and lemon notes. Palate is dry and oaky, with a very slight black pepper taste underneath more agave. The finish is citrusy fading on pleasant black pepper notes. A very nice tequila. I’m a G4 fan but almost surprised at how good this is.”

“Really nice Reposado. The nose is very fresh and grassy with a touch of agave. I get agave on the palate as well as a hint of vanilla. The finish is long and a tiny bit astringent. Overall, an excellent pour. Note: I am reviewing an older bottling found in Mexico.”

“Not a terrible tequila, but not very interesting. My bottle has a bit of off-taste - maybe just very green agave? I don’t know. I love the line, but going to have to pass on the Blanco.”

“The oak notes hit first - kind of dry with tannins but not too dry. The nose is nice, with a bit of the barrel still present. Oak continues to the finish, where agave notes finally show up. An interesting and enjoyable anejo though.”

“Pretty light nose, but agave taste all the way with a bit of vanilla. Really nice slightly spicy finish. Lovely tequila. Mexico only, and a great deal, but a little hard to find.”

“Pretty decent agave forward tequila. Not super high end, and the finish is a bit harsh (though it calms down nicely once the bottle has some air time), but the nose is the star: agave all the way.”

“Very light, grassy nose. Vanilla, oak and agave are notable on the palate. Has a longish but non-descript finish. A very tasty and easy-to-drink Anejo.”
