Cimarron Blanco
“Disgusting. I don’t understand the rating and plaudits. Funky briny nastiness. I have bought and consumed (with friends) over a hundred bottles of tequila in the last 2 years. This is by far the worst of the additive frees. Yes it’s cheap. There is a reason.”

Cascahuín Plata 48%
“Lote 395 05/07/23 #cascahuineando Classic cascahuin profile on the mouth and nose. Only area I felt this disappointed was in the amount of alcohol/kick that was noticeable at times, which can be common of higher proofs, but not always. Otherwise another solid tequila from cascahuin and 1123, still prefer the tahona and other 1123 high proofs to this blanco but still very nice compared to everything else. ”

Volans Single Barrel Reposado
“2024 Sib barrel 8. Basil Hayden American oak barrel #1 char. After sitting on this bottle and doing some research I found the cooperage used a new proprietary cold smoking process that infused hickory smoke to the barrel without using any flame, or smoking material. Nose is beautiful. Oak, cinnamon, roasted agave, vanilla. Very nice feel, buttery Flavor is great! Carmel and sweet cooked agave, I get hints of bourbon and barrel spice too, cacao at the end. Finish as awesome, complex, warm with cinnamon notes that fade into sweetness. ”

Fortaleza Blanco
“AROMA: I immediately get this vibrant hit of raw agave and lovely floral notes. Then comes the sweet agave flavor, a distinct mineral quality, and a subtle whisper of melon that rounds it all out beautifully. FLAVOR: Taking a sip, I get this raw agave rush that immediately mellows into beautiful floral tones. Then the rich sweetness of cooked agave takes center stage, all balanced by a sharp mineral kick and a bright, fruity finish that just lingers perfectly. FINISH: The finish is really clean and lingers for quite a while, starting with a bright floral burst and a clear agave flavor. As that fades, you get a spicy white pepper kick that mellows into a gorgeous, lingering freshness of mint and citrus. ”

Regional Blanco
“Nom 1503 with 2011 MX nacional stamp on the bottle Good nose, very unique, and bright. Aroma of fresh agave, green bell pepper, citrus zest, and crushed pine cone. Warming feel on the tongue, but not too viscus Definitely getting flavors of a charred Pueblano pepper, sweet roasted agave, and lime black pepper. Awesome finish, medium, layered.”

Don Fulano Imperial (5 yr)
“Aroma of vanilla, caramel, and more. Flavors of vanilla and oak Finishes smoothly with notes of oak and spices. Value is a personal choice. This extra añejo is excellent without a doubt. But, this is too much for me to buy a whole bottle. But, much of that is my personal preference. For those that love aged spirits, this is something for a special occasion. This is a sipping tequila, that is definitely worth paying for a shot. ”

Mijenta Tequila Reposado
“Really have enjoyed other Mijenta offerings. This one, to me, tastes muddy (maybe muddled) and then sharp to the point of being nearly distasteful. Could be me. Could be my marlin shirt and straw hat. Or the 100 degree day that is this day. Just not picking up what this rabbit is putting down. Also. Blanco is my jam - as the kids say - so perhaps this review is a grain of salt that you should take. ”

On the palate I get sweet cooked agave, definitely the minerals, citrus, some earthiness, a touch vegetal, herbal, followed by cinnamon and pepper. Finish is long, sweet, and a bit fruity. Overall this is a nice sipping HP, can definitely recommend. ”

Flecha Azul Tequila Añejo
“Flecha Azul Añejo Nose: Orange peel with some mineral notes and a noticeable bourbon/whiskey influence. Taste & Texture: Cinnamon spice and sweetness lead the palate. The barrel influence is definitely present, but much more restrained and balanced than some heavily barrel-forward añejos. Nice mouthfeel. Finish: Warming, with noticeable but balanced tannins. A lingering vegetal character comes through after the barrel and spice fade.”

Gran Orendain Añejo
“Gran Orendain Añejo Nose: Barrel and oak lead the aroma with a pronounced bourbon sweetness. Some autumn baking-spice notes underneath. Taste & Texture: Bourbon-like sweetness immediately takes control. The barrel influence dominates the palate and pushes the cooked agave into the background. Finish: The bourbon character continues through the finish and remains the dominant impression after the sip. Overall: Very barrel-forward, with bourbon sweetness running from the nose through the finish. There are some pleasant oak and autumn-spice notes, but the barrel influence overwhelms the agave character for my taste.”

Entremanos Tequila Blanco High Proof
“This overproof echoes the regular Blanco made by Entremanos nicely. The aroma is excellent much like the standard blanco and the finish is way nicer than the initial sip, which is a little more bite than some of the other overproof tequilas that I’ve tried by comparison. Though the 2nd pour way better than the first for sure. ”

Entremanos Tequila Blanco
“This Blanco is very well don’t. Which make me excited to hunt for the other blanco varieties they produce. The agave taste on the nose and flavor was just right. The nose hinted at a much sweeter sip, however the taste was more of what I’d expect with a quality blanco. ”

3 Amigos Blanco
“Aroma of cooked agave, pears, and alcohol Flavors of cooked agave with hints of vegetal. Finishes with notes of agave. Value is ok. For its price of about $31 USD you can find worse and better blancos.”
